What it is...
Restorative Yoga is a passive and deeply therapeutic form of yoga that provides deep rest for tired bodies, relaxation for busy minds and rejuvenation for the body and entire nervous system.
How it works...
...by way of strategically positioning bolsters, blocks/bricks and using belts, blankets and eye pillows to support and nourish the body down to the cellular level.

Restorative yoga helps boosts the Parasympathetic Nervous System, reducing stress, lowering bad cholesterol while boosting the immune system. It also helps supports weight-loss, by stimulating the 'Relaxation Response' of the PNS; reducing cortisol levels related to stress and holding of sub-dermal fat.
Why do it...
It is the perfect antidote to stress, modern living in an over-scheduled technology driven society.

Restorative yoga also benefits and supports anyone suffering from acute or chronic conditions such as: insomnia, anxiety, exhaustion in addition to a host of other medical conditions.
What participants say...
“Your Restorative yoga workshop was fantastic: the quiet atmosphere you create, the love and knowledge you bring into your teaching and the deep resonance from the singing bowls makes it all a fantastic experience.”
