How I teach...
I teach alignment based Hatha Yoga Slow Flow, blending together flowing movements and longer-held poses that build strength and stamina while improving stability and flexibility. I like to teach in a hands-on personal non-dogmatic way and I share information on anatomy and benefits of poses for the physical and subtle energetic body that encourages students to challenge themselves whilst remaining compassionate and honouring their own bodies and acting with kindness to themselves.
Training & Qualifications
Trained with Yoga Campus, a UK leading training school in 2007. I am British Wheel of Yoga certified in yoga for Adults, Children, adv. Yin & Pregnancy.I am also an advanced practitioner of Relax & Renew® Restorative yoga for therapeutic healing and is a teacher trainer, having studied with Judith Hanson Lasater since 2009. I have studied with and continue to do so with international teachers: Tias Little and Doug Keller for yoga therapy and meditation with Rolf Sovik of the Himalayan Institute.
